Visit to the Taoyuan Animal Protection Education Park

During our visit to the Taoyuan Animal Protection Education Park in Xinwu District, we observed rescued dogs and cats up close. Some of the animals had once been stray or injured, but through the shelter’s care, they regained safety and warmth. This experience helped us better understand the importance of adoption over purchasing and deepened our empathy toward the issue of stray animals.

Through the guided tour and explanations, we learned that animal protection is not just about providing food and shelter, but also about long-term care and education. We hope to bring this experience back to our school to promote more sharing of animal protection knowledge and take real action, helping more people understand how to treat life with kindness.

Through on-site observation and close interaction, we gained a deeper understanding of the stories behind each sheltered animal. Some were abandoned, while others were injured or left uncared for due to old age. The look in their eyes reflected their past hardships and reminded us of the responsibility and obligation humans have toward animal lives.

This visit was not only a learning experience about animal protection, but also a source of inspiration for our hearts. We hope to start with small actions in daily life, such as supporting adoption, volunteering, and sharing ideas about animal protection. Let love and care begin with us, and inspire more people around us to join in safeguarding animals.

To realize the value of every life.

With the guidance of the staff, we had the opportunity to interact with the dogs. Students gently approached them, speaking softly, trying to feed and pet them, and experienced the precious trust animals can place in humans. Although many were initially afraid, this experience helped them gradually overcome their fear and build a connection with the animals.

This close interaction was more than just an activity—it helped us truly understand the value of every life. In the future, we hope to support animal protection through real actions, such as volunteering and promoting the concept of adoption, so that more animals can be treated with kindness and care.
